Gerardo García, vice president of the MAS, questioned the management of President Luis Arce and referred to one of the sayings of the late Mallku Felipe Quispe.

“Perhaps I recognize the message that the Mallku gave. mallku said: ‘A k’ara is not to be trusted. A k’ara will always betray you when you turn around’. We had trusted (in Arce) for being a good economist, a good administrator, economically, in the country; but our president Luis Arce seems to he was born to be commanded and not to command the country (…) We are seeing the weakness that is occurring (in the country)”, he told the La Paz media.

In a press conference, García not only observed that there is corruption in the management of Arce, but also that questioned economic measures that he is carrying out, he referred to the high costs of the family basket and of fuel and compared the current reality with that experienced in the UDP administration in the 1980s.

Likewise, he criticized the “ideological pluralism”, which he found offensive, since he is not willing to agree with those who “discriminated against, tortured, imprisoned and killed them.”

He accused Arce and his associates of seeking to eliminate the Movimiento Al Socialismo. In his opinion, no one can replace Evo Morales, the president of MAS.

Who like Evo Morales! We don’t have one here. Could it be that Lucho has been a leader, has he ever been a leader? Never. Could it be that Choquehuanca? No; there is none, that’s why our top leader is our brother Evo Morales,” Garcia said.
