A barge overturned on the Caracas – La Guaira highway, towards Caracas, after the second viaduct, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the first safety report, the accident involves the barge, a motorized vehicle and three vehicles, where one person is presumed dead and at least nine injured, of which three were on board the barge.
Officials from Civil Protection, Marine and Caracas Firefighters, and security forces are on site to provide rescue actions.
