“When I was a mother (3 years ago) I felt the need to create this book, so that my daughter could read it and use it in different parts of her life. But also because I believe that many women in the workplace suffer various forms of discrimination, especially if they are mothers. My motivation is to be able to help eradicate these practices, making women aware of their rights and able to exercise them. I always say “It’s not a favor, it’s your rights”that phrase characterizes me because knowing them is the first step to make them count”, says Paola, who is also a partner at the Law Firm De la Puerta Abogados, pioneers in maternity protection and women’s rights.
