Gabriela Jiménez: Bolivarian Government will always work for peace

The National Government delegate for the Dialogue Table, Gabriela Jiménez, affirmed that the Bolivarian Government will always work for peace.

On Wednesday, in the 360 ​​program broadcast by VTV, he expressed that “they have been 22 years of negotiations, seeking understanding between Venezuelans and the non-interference of other governments in the decisions of our people.”

In this sense, he said that with the days of dialogue between the Government and a sector of the opposition, “the violent agenda is exhausted, peace and understanding among Venezuelans triumph.”

He assured that despite the differences in political positions, the understanding between the parties stands out.

In this regard, he said that with this representation of the opposition there are a series of important elements, related to those points in common on the effect of unilateral coercive measures.

“The opposition recognizes that the sanctions violate the rights of the people,” he stressed.

He also indicated that among the objectives of the dialogue, it seeks to neutralize the sanctions and guarantee resources in health, security, education, among other services for the Venezuelan people.

Project execution

The also vice president of Science, Technology, Education and Health, explained that the technical projects will be carried out with the United Nations System in Venezuela, therefore, the ministries will be accompanied by PAHO, Unicef ​​and the United Nations Development Program Development (UNDP).

He assured that when the three billion dollars are released, they will go to projects of a social nature, including the National Electric Service (SEN).

“These three billion dollars are earmarked for projects of a social nature such as vaccination, electricity, which is 465 megawatts that we are going to return in generation and distribution,” he claimed.

In turn, he maintained that this table is accompanied by a monitoring and verification instance to guarantee the objectives agreed in the documents signed by both parties.

On November 26, the signing of the Second Partial Social Agreement between the Government of Venezuela and the opposition sectorin Mexico City.
