The spokeswoman for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti, announced that this morning the first shipment of 218,000 pediatric Pzifer vaccines will arrive in the country and said that a total of 1.5 million doses will arrive in February.
“We are prepared to start the school year with most of the educational community with the complete vaccination schedule, which will allow us a wide presence,” Cerruti said at a press conference, announcing the arrival of the shipment for 10 o’clock this morning.
Cerruti maintained that the national government is “taking steps in the right direction” within the framework of the understanding reached with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and confirmed that “the best possible agreement” will be reached.
“We understand that we are taking steps in the right direction; we are going to reach the best possible agreement to give a beginning solution to the largest historical debt contracted by Argentina, headed by Mauricio Macri’s management, and the largest that the Fund gave at the time. It’s not the best solution ever, but the best possible solution to a problem we inherited,” he said.
