G-7 foreign ministers will address illegal drug trafficking and trafficking

Today the work of the meeting of foreign ministers of the G-7 will begin, in which topics such as the fight against illicit trafficking of drugs, weapons and people, among others, will be addressed, the Mexican Foreign Ministry reported.

In a statement, he indicated that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, will participate in this meeting, which will take place on November 11 and 12 in the province of Ontario, Canada.

The agency added that other points to be discussed will refer to actions to mitigate vulnerabilities and diversify supply chains in the face of market disruptions.

He noted that, in addition to the foreign ministers of Canada, the United States, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and Japan, the secretaries of the countries that were invited to the G-7 summit in Kananaskis last June, such as Australia, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, India and South Africa, have confirmed their attendance.
