Funza vibrated to the rhythm of music, art and culture

The ZaqueSazipa Art and Culture Festival brought together more than 70,000 attendees who celebrated for 12 days.

With a historical balance, the XXVIII Festival of Art and Culture Zaquesazipa was consolidated as the largest cultural festival of Cundinamarca and one of the most recognized nationwide. For 12 days, more than 70 thousand attendees enjoyed a diverse and high quality program, which brought together more than 1,000 artists, mostly Funzanos, in a true celebration of art, identity and cultural evolution.

The programming included More than 270 dance, theater, literature activities, handmade fairs, gastronomic samples and concerts that made the public vibrate.

“Funza invests more than 16 billion pesos each year in art and culture. This investment should not only remain in training, practice or essay, but must have real spaces for exposure. For me, the most valuable thing about the Zaquesazipa festival is to see our Funzanos artists in Trim, sharing the scene with the greats and demonstrating the quality we have in our municipality. In addition, I am proud to see that it is a festival for the whole family. From the most children to older adults, everyone has a space and enjoy a program designed for them. It is a healthy, cultural plan that unites us as a community, “said Villamil Buitrago.
