
The Venezuelan Foundation of Seismological Research (Funvisis) reported This Monday, October 6, the report of five earthquakes in Venezuelaspecifically in the Apure, Trujillo, Zulia, Lara and Sucre states, without damages or victims.
Telluric movements occurred at dawn, with magnitudes that ranged between 2.9 and 3.6 and depths of 22.3 km to 35.3 km.

The earthquakes on Monday in Venezuela were recorded in the following states:
Apure: 12:44 am, magnitude 3.4, depth 22.3 km, epicenter 12 km west of El Null.
Trujillo: 1:03 am, magnitude 2.9, depth 29.5 km, epicenter 38 km north of Isnotu.
Zulia: 3:33 am, magnitude 3.1, depth 35.2 km, epicenter 58 km east of bachaquero.
Lara: 4:15 am, magnitude 3.5, depth 35.3 km, epicenter 25 km southwest of Carora.
Sucre: 4:18 am, magnitude 3.6, depth 29.5 km, epicenter 20 km south of Yaguaraparo.
Most of these movements have been of low magnitude, although they keep the communities of the west of the country on alert, especially in the vicinity of Lake Maracaibo.
Funvisis recommended that the population remain calm and continue with preventive measures to any seismic movement.
