The government of Daniel Ortega will maintain the average price of a gallon of super and regular gasoline above five dollars for the twenty-sixth consecutive week, starting this Sunday, October 2, reported the Nicaraguan Institute of Energy (INE) and the Ministry of Energy. and Mines.
The cost of super gasoline, used in light cars, it will remain at $5.13; and that of regular gasoline, applied in old cars and off-road vehicles, will remain at $5.01; while diesel, used in cargo and collective transport, will be sustained in $4.53 per gallon (3.78 liters).

“For the following week, the prices of fuels, gasoline and diesel will remain unchanged,” the entities specified.
According to international fuel prices, for the following week the price of diesel should increase by 0.05 dollars per gallon, that is, up to 4.58 dollars per gallon, indicated the INE and the Ministry of Energy and Mines in the weekly report.
In the case of super and regular gasoline, it was not specified how much the increase would be. According to the Executive, by assuming 100% of the increases in the prices of fuels and liquefied cooking gas, the State of Nicaragua disburses between 4 and 6 million dollars weekly.
