Fuel prices from July 16 to 22, 2022

The Vice Minister of Internal Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermín, reported this Friday that the Government maintains the extraordinary fuel subsidy for the week of July 16 to Friday, July 22, 2022.

Pérez Fermín explained that the international price of WTI averaged 100.75 this week, for a new decrease in average terms, although with an accumulated annual increase of 33.7%.

“It has affected the fuel prices fears of a world economic recession, due to the high inflationcaused by high prices in raw materials and food in several countries, including the United States,” the official explained.

“We announce that the Dominican Government assumes a debt of 900 million pesos, to avoid price increases in LPG of 2.14 pesos per gallon; from the gasoline premium of 45.39 per gallon; of the gasoline regular 54.24 per gallon, and regular and optimal diesel, which must have risen between 79 and 85 pesos per gallon”, he pointed out.

For the week from July 16 to 22, 2022, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MiPymes provides that fuels be marketed at the following prices:

  • Gasoline premium: 293.60 pesos per gallon.
  • Gasoline regular: 274.50 pesos per gallon.
  • Regular diesel: 221.60 per gallon.
  • Optimum diesel: 241.10 pesos per gallon.
  • Avtur: 298.91 pesos per gallon.
  • Kerosene: 338.10 pesos per gallon.
  • Fuel oil #6: 192.11 pesos per gallon.
  • Fuel oil 1%: 211.77 pesos per gallon.
  • LPG: 147.60 pesos per gallon.
  • Natural gas: 28.97 pesos per m3.
