Fuel prices for the first week of September

¡Ya anunciaron los precios de los combustibles para esta semana!

For the week of August 31 to September 6, 2024, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that fuels are sold at the following prices:

Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.
Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
Avtur RD$187.94 per gallon maintains its price.
Kerosene RD$216.70 per gallon maintains its price.
Fuel Oil #6 RD$156.81 per gallon down RD$0.33.
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$171.78 per gallon down RD$0.05.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.

The exchange rate The weekly average is RD$59.84 according to daily publications from the Central Bank.

The Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Ramon Perez Fermin, informed citizens this Friday that this week the government of President Luis Abinader has ratified the extraordinary subsidy on fuels, protecting the Dominican family economy.

For this week, the subsidies applied are the following; regular diesel 13.84 pesos per gallon, premium diesel: 8.15 pesos per gallon, regular gasoline: 8.86 pesos per gallon, gasoline Premium: 1.59 pesos per gallon and LPG: 15.19 pesos per gallon.

This action represents a sacrifice of approximately RD$257.2 million, this week alone, and he explained that its objective is to maintain price stability in an international context marked by fluctuations in the cost of crude oil, lower supply, and a greater demand.
