Private importers who import fuel already have, since Monday, the “one stop shop” to carry out the procedures import of diesel and gasoline for own consumption or marketing, announced on Tuesday Joel Callaú, Marketing Manager of YPFB.
“The one-stop shop is already enabled in offices in the Eastern Commercial District. Staff of YPFB, the ANH, the General Directorate of Controlled Substances and even the National Customs meet the different requirements and provide data to expedite and simplify the procedures for the importation of fuels intended for the own consumption or marketing. In addition, as of this Monday, the supply schedule began through mobile dispensers to the productive sector of Santa Cruz,” said Callaú.
According to the executive, both activities will ensure the fuel supply and will contribute to the agricultural activities of the productive sectors of the department of Santa Cruz, such as summer planting. Subsequently, the measure will be replicated in other regions of the central axis and the rest of the departments.
“Now the productive sector of this region can import fuels to use in their agricultural campaigns,” added the authority.
“The procedure to obtain fuel import authorization It starts with a request note to YPFB of no objection from the natural or legal person. Subsequently, the registration is carried out before the General Directorate of Controlled Substances and with both documents, among others, it goes to the ANH to obtain an Administrative Resolution of import authorization for own consumption or for marketing, Callaú explained.
Mobile dispensers
Likewise, in order to guarantee food security and support small producers in the department of Santa Cruz, Callaú indicated that the supply of fuel was coordinated through mobile dispensers, that represent an efficient distribution alternative in remote areas and that, he noted, benefit the agricultural sector.
The supply through mobile tankers was coordinated with the small producer sector and “the units will leave for the provinces.” Mountain range, Ñuflo de Chávez, to the Chiquitanía area and to the integrated north of the department of Santa Cruz,” said Callaú.
“Diesel will be able to reach the producer directly and not so to the different people who are dedicated to illicit activities who are taking advantage of the situation and the only thing they do is go to service stations in an uncontrolled manner and subsequently market to them at higher prices,” mentioned the Marketing Manager of the state oil company.
