FTC rescues residents affected by the overflow of the Aquidabán

The Internal Defense Operations Command (CODI) of the Joint Task Force (FTC) reported a total of 20 people rescued and several domestic animals, at the end of the work yesterday Friday.

They used vehicles, helicopters and boats. Among those affected are older adults, youth and children, who, In addition, they received medical assistance.

The works were carried out urgently, due to the overflow of the Aquidabán River, which ended up displacing the residents.

For her part, the Minister of National Emergency ordered the dispatch of operational and mobile crews with supplies to help those affected by the floods.
