Saint Dominic.- A front system will be approaching on thursday to Dominican territory to cause an increase in cloudiness and downpours in some provinces, reported this Tuesday the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
The frontal system will cause downpours over Puerto Plata, Monte Cristi, Dajabón, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, La Vega, Santiago de los Caballeros, and La Altagracia, according to Meteorology.

«On Thursday, In the afternoon, as a result of the approach of a frontal system and a trough associated with it, it will cause increases in cloudiness accompanied by weak to moderate rains, in Puerto Plata, Monte Cristi, Dajabón, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, La Vega, Santiago de los Caballeros, and The Altagracia. “This precipitation activity will last until the early hours of the night,” says the Indomet.
In addition, Meteorology forecast that this Wednesday an environment of little rain will prevail on Dominican soil, although moderate showers were not ruled out in towns near mountains.
