The Public Ministry filed an accusation against a man, of Brazilian nationality, for femicide. The detainee would have altered the crime scene to make it look like a robbery, as was believed at the time.
The prosecutor María del Carmen Meza charged Osvaldo Querino Dalpra with femicide, who would have murdered his wife and then altered the crime scene to make believe that it was a crime for the purpose of robbery. The accused is deprived of his freedom in police headquarters with a request for preventive detention.
According to the background, the event occurred in the early morning of October 27, 2021, inside a house located in the Santa Catalina neighborhood of the Naranjal district, where Cristina Deckmann de Dalpra was fatally injured, who was stabbed.
On that occasion, Dalpra would have arrived at his home, picked up his 9-year-old son in his arms, who at that time was sleeping next to his mother in the double room, and moved him to his room, locking the door. .
Upon returning, he had a conversation with his wife, then covered her face with a cushion and allegedly proceeded to stab her 6 times, which ended her life almost instantly. Later, the man simulated a disorder in the place, throwing clothes and other objects on the ground and seized two cell phones used by the woman and her youngest son.
Then, he violated the blindex access door from the inside, which allows access to the pantry and also to the house. The suspicion maintained by the Public Ministry is that the accused altered the crime scene in order to give it the appearance of a robbery.
At the end, he boarded his Toyota Regius van and headed for the Jerusalem II neighborhood, where he finally stayed the night with a 16-year-old girl.
Querino Dalpra initially testified as a witness in the case, as no one doubted his version at first. However, in continuing the investigation, the investigators were able to determine his involvement in the murder, through various pieces of evidence collected.
Finally, on April 6, he was arrested and charged by prosecutor María del Carmen Meza, who requested his preventive detention.
