Due to the low passenger demand on the route from Huancayo to Lima, the cost of travel tickets remained relatively low, however, transporters assure that as the influx of people increases, there would be a considerable increase.
Cost. Until noon yesterday, the prices that were charged to travel to the city of Lima were from 20 soles during the day to 50 soles, depending on the arrival terminal.
“We are projecting that for the night, to Huaycán and Yerbateros, the cost of the ticket is 40 soles, but if it is to Lurín it rises to 50 soles,” detailed some men behind the wheel.
Until today, the price ranged between 20 and 40 soles, depending on the apartment and transportation company.
In informal vehicles such as rural vans and minivans, the cost of day tickets was 50 soles, while in a car or SUV the cost ranged from 80 to 110 soles.
“These days there are still not many people traveling, that is why there are low prices, but for tomorrow (today) there will surely be more passengers so the cost of tickets will also increase,” they added.
The increase in tickets would only be for days, and the men behind the wheel estimate that it cannot exceed 100% of yesterday’s price.
