The Secretary of Industry and Productive Development, José Ignacio de Mendiguren, affirmed this Friday that the main fight that the management of the economic team must give is the “recovery of real wages, lowering inflation with parities that can sustain wage levels.”
“This is the great challenge now, while we maintain the occupancy level below 7%, and the level of activity in 22 of the 24 Argentine provinces,” De Mendiguren said this Friday morning in statements to Télam Radio.
The statements of the Secretary of Industry are in line with the Government’s objective of advancing in parity negotiations that do not exceed 60% per year, to advance on a path of deceleration of nominality.
“The novelty of Argentina is that we are going to a stabilization plan with an orderly fiscal path but maintaining the level of economic growth,” explained De Mendiguren.
In any case, the official pointed out that there are still “Pending issues such as the purchasing power of wages, but those who say that inflation can be combated with a shock do not understand the real economy.”
“Many people who give their opinion, give their opinion about a photo and cannot understand the film. Sometimes the photos are complex, but they have positive prospects ahead, which is what we see,” reflected De Mendiguren.
After questioning “professional economists who have no management skills, who in many cases apply books already burned in the world,” the official stressed the importance of “understanding the real economy, with alliances and partners for each given problem”.
