Natural persons may present, from March 6, the 2022 from your cell phone using the People APP, reported the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat).

The measure is expected to benefit more than 600,000 natural persons who will be able to make their declaration at any time and without the need to carry out a face-to-face procedure at a Taxpayer Service Center.

To carry out this action, it is necessary to download or update this application from the virtual stores of Google Play and APP Store, click on the “Annual Income” option, select “Annual Income Declaration”, confirm or modify the declaration proposal and that’s it .

“You can also present the statement entering specialized portal where you will locate the ‘Declare Persons’ option and in just a few minutes you will be able to comply with the presentation”, explained the Sunat.

On the other hand, the Superintendence specified that in case a balance is determined in favor of Income Tax, the taxpayer can register or update, at that moment, the Interbank Account Code (CCI), so that the refund of directly into your bank account.

“If, on the contrary, it is up to you to regularize the Income Tax, you can pay it with any credit or debit card, YAPE, among other options. You can also choose to request at that time the deferral (up to six months) and / or fractionation (up to 36 installments) of the amount to be regularized ”, he added.
