Who today was dressed in glory and joy with the Colombia Tierra de Atletas team, as he was crowned National Road Champion of the men’s sub-23 category.
In the competition, the man from Santander won a circuit of 3 laps in the capital of the department of Risaralda. The route was composed of 158 kilometers.
His triumph has been the struggle and the constant effort to get up in the midst of adversity.

Gómez from Santander was the protagonist of the sad scene that went viral a few years ago in the world of cycling.
It happened on the roads of England, when he ended up crying because in the middle of the competition he got a flat tire and his team did not come to help him, he had to take his bicycle on foot and lost the race for which he had been preparing for years.
There were 77 kilometers left to go, the Colombian cyclist was between thethe first places. Gómez participated with the Colombian team in the long-distance test of the U-23 category of the United Kingdom Cycling World Championship.
