Meanwhile, the National Director of Statistics and Census, Samuel Moreno, highlighted that the first stage that includes updating the Directory of Companies and Premises, consists of counting, recording and collecting statistical data taken directly from companies and premises dedicated to carrying out different economic activities, located in a specific geographical space within the national territory.
Among the economic activities are: forestry, industrial fishing, mining and quarrying, electricity generation and distribution, the construction industry, wholesale trade, transportation, storage, and communications. In addition to manufacturing industries, retail trade, hotels and restaurants and other services.
The National Economic Census has a second phase, which is the application of a questionnaire made up of 44 questions contained in 5 chapters. You will be asked about the geographical location of the premises, its general data, activities and economic data. While in the rural sectors, work will be done through samples.
