Kola Esocesa is not only a gastronomic heritage of Arequipabut rather aims at internationalization. This was confirmed by Luis Fernando Odiaga, head of the company in Lima that produces this Peruvian drink.

At the moment it is a medium-term project. Bolivia is a good destination, in Ecuador We are also thinking, but our plan is to strengthen (in the country) the southern and central regions, trying to reach the north, which is a long road, but there we go,” Odiaga said.

The official said that before starting the project they will first embark on the objective of establishing Kola Escocesa throughout the country.

“The medium-term plan is there. Our goal is to expand beyond the borders of Peru, but there is much to consolidate in the Peruvian territory, We try to grow a lot and do things with love,” he said in an interview with RPP.

On the other hand, Odiaga highlighted that Kola Escocesa won two international awards, two stars in the Superior Taste Award and the Gold Award 2024 from Monde Selection, a distinction that guides consumers and buyers in the search for products of the highest quality and flavor.

It is a recognition for the family, the company and above all for Peru and our workers. The people who are at the forefront and make the product have this superior flavor and quality,” he stated.
