From 2005 to 2022, the 14 finals won by Nadal at Roland Garros

Spanish Rafael Nadal won 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 this Sunday in the Roland Garros final and added his 14th crown at the French Open, thus increasing his own record of triumphs in the Grand Slam Parisian.

With this title and the Australian Open won at the beginning of February, Nadal also increases his record for victories in Grand Slam tournaments to 22, two more than his pursuers Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.

Precisely, Nadal succeeds the Serbian, who last year beat the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, after eliminating Rafa in the semifinals.

In the historical record of the Parisian tournament in the Open Era (since 1968), Nadal continues to increase distances with respect to the second, the former Swedish tennis player Björn Borg, who added six titles between 1974 and 1981.
