The video was recorded by a transporter in La Pintada, Antioquia. It went up, $47,700 more.
Colombia News.
Enormous indignation has been generated by the complaint made by a truck driver in the last few hours due to the high increase in a toll on roads in Colombia.
The images were taken at the height of La Pintada, in Antioquia.
Sector through which the transporter traveled and where he decided to record the employee of the consortium who confirmed the increase.
“La Pintada toll, $19,900, let’s see how much is left,” said the man who was waiting inside his vehicle for the “surprise” that the woman in charge of the ticket office would give him.
“Negra, how much is this toll?” asked the trucker. And it added “category three, 3 axles”.
“Sixty-six seven hundred,” the woman replied.
He, in the midst of his astonishment, repeated the figure, which apparently did not add up to him, since its exaggerated increase perplexed him, “sixty-six seven hundred.”
“From $19,900 to $66,700… Oh Ave Maria!” exclaimed.

After knowing the video, the outrage has been enormous, drivers and especially transporters have raised a voice of rejection, as they state that an increase of $ 47,700 more is not justified.
Rates of 34 toll stations rose 5.62%
Since last Sunday, January 16, the rates of the 34 toll stations that the National Institute of Roads (Invías) have increased by 5.62%.
This was announced by the Technical and Structuring Director, Guillermo Toro Acuña, after announcing that the increase is based on the CPI decreed by DANE for the year 2022.
As explained, the updating of the tariffs will allow the advancement of projects for the improvement and maintenance of the country’s road infrastructure.
“In this way, a category 1 car or campero vehicle that crosses the La Línea tunnel toll on the Tolima or Quindío side that paid 8,900 before January 16, 2022 will now pay 9,400 pesos,” he said.
