Froilán Peralta was sentenced to three years in prison

Froilán Peralta was accused of breach of trust and inducement of a subordinate, however, the magistrates pointed out that the latter crime had already prescribed and dismissed him.

The case began in 2015 with the student protests that took place at the UNA and where Froilán Peralta was accused of distributing teacher items among his relatives, but the case was extended over time due to the Chicanas who were presenting themselves and now the case will not be tried because the case was filed.

The prosecution represented by Luis Said, in its final arguments requested six years in prison for Peralta, while the defendant’s defense requested the prescription, for the Court prevailed the former rector’s defense request.
