“Friendly” fire in the PDG: deputy Rivas is removed from the Committee on the Elderly and Disability without prior notice and is replaced by Yovana Ahumada

Through a statement, the People’s Party (PDG) announced the departure of the deputy of its own group, Gaspar Rivas, from the Committee on the Elderly and Disability of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies.

Specifically, the change was made without prior notice to Rivas, who will be replaced in the legislative body by the head of the PDG bench, Yovana Ahumada.

The event occurred in the framework of the approval of censorship against the president of the Commission for the Elderly and Disability of the Chamber of Deputies, Carolina Marzán (PPD), who was removed from the instance, something that the parliamentarian Gaspar Rivas did not share with the pdg. As a result of this, his party took him out to have a majority in the vote and specify the censorship.

After the situation, Rivas -evidently upset-, pointed out that “the People’s Party has shown in six months to have become the worst in politics” and referred in harsh terms to his co-religionists, Víctor Pino and Yovana Ahumada, his boss bench.
