This Monday, December 20, the FA sent a letter of greeting to President Boric, which bears the signature of the coordinators of the left-wing political force: Ricardo Ehrlich and María Jossé Rodríguez.
The letter is addressed to the President-elect of the Republic of Chile: “Compañero, Gabriel Boric.”
“On behalf of the Broad Front of Uruguay and our own, we want to convey our greetings and our joy for the great step that the Chilean people have decided to walk the path of solidarity and social justice construction”, indicates the FA.
The great avenues will reopen
The letter ends with a phrase from former Chilean President Salvador Allende: “The great avenues will reopen!”
In his last speech, prior to the 1973 coup, Allende said: “You continue to know that, much sooner rather than later, the great avenues will open, where the free man will pass to build a better society.”
