The drivers practically become a kind of sports announcers, presenting the election day every two years with visible passion. They turn the hilarious broadcast into the “Super Bowl” of American politics.
And what a democratic day they have had in the neighboring country. The polling oracles were terribly wrong. The vast majority of experts gave a resounding and overwhelming victory for the Republican party over the Democrats in both Houses and in most of the governorships.
The reality was very different.
Despite the fact that the Republicans have recovered the House of Representatives, the Democrats have breathed, since the majority of the Senate is up in the air (the election in Georgia will have to be repeated), but everything seems to indicate that they will maintain -despite the faunal of photograph- the 50 senators they had and with the vote of Vice President Kamala Harris, they have a majority.

Election day on Tuesday, November 8 was as close as it was inexplicable. After the hangover caused by global inflation, the war in Ukraine, the defeat of the pro-abortion Democrats, after the fall of the Wade Vs Roe law and other controversies.
For not having knocked out the Democrats, ‘Republicanism’ could suffer a great internal division. This, because it will be endorsed to a single person: Donald Trump.
An interesting phenomenon occurred: the most extreme Trump candidates, who seemed to win easily, either won pyrrhically or suffered a terrible defeat, as in the case of the far-right candidate Kari Lake, in Arizona.
On the other hand, some candidates who have openly identified as anti-Trump have won in a landslide. The tycoon now faces a very influential front against him, within his own party. He will be represented by Governors Ron DeSantis (Florida) and Brian Kemp (Georgia).
