the minister Delign Ascension revealed that the replacement of the general Gregorio Luperón or La Barquita bridge, built during the administration of Joaquín Balaguer in 1978 for a smaller number of vehicles than those that currently circulate through the place, is in the design phase.
“We have already begun to take the first steps for the studies and designs of a bridge with at least four lanes, the studies they give us is that they practically have to be replaced, obviously the replacement must be on a par with the construction.”
