Free activities in CDMX for vacations
The Ministry of Culture of Mexico City has different activities planned through its billboard. For their part, the mayors also carry out their own plans and events to provide to the population, such as posadas.

Christmas Verbena in the Zócalo
From December 17 to 30, with the exception of the 25th, the Zócalo of CDMX invites families to the Christmas Verbena to enjoy various free-entry activities such as performances by 56 musical groups of various genres, pastorela performances, crafts, decoration, food and ice rink.

December night bike ride
The Mobility Secretariat (Semovi) invites citizens to participate in the last “Muévete en Bici” Night Ride of 2024 on Saturday, December 28 on Paseo de la Reforma.
The ride will start at 7:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m. Attendees will be able to participate by bicycle, rollerblades, skateboard or on foot to travel 19 kilometers from Fuente de Petróleo to Plaza Tlaxcoaque.
Semovi will later share details of the route, as well as its activities.

Skating on ice rinks
The Ministry of Culture of the capital announced that all municipalities will have free access ice rinks during the holidays. The hours will be staggered from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and access is free. Only on Wednesday, December 25 and January 1, the offices will not open.
Museums and exhibitions
Mexico City has a great cultural offering of museums and exhibitions, and many of them usually have free entry on Sundays. Among them are the National Museum of Anthropology, Museo del Templo Mayor, National Museum of History, located in the Chapultepec Castle, Tamayo Museum, Museum of the Palace of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Art, among others.

High Energy in the Angel! with Polymarchs
On December 31, starting at 10:00 p.m. at the Ángel de la Independencia, the Mexican sonidero Polymarchs will perform to provide a visual and musical spectacle and say goodbye to the year with dance and energy.
