In conversation with RPP, the legislator sought to justify his request before the Plenary of Congress to remain as a parliamentarian and hold a position of power. “There is an investigation process to which we have agreed from the outset. It is in the process of investigation, and that it be the Public Ministry that determines my responsibility —if it existed—”, he expressed.
On the other hand, the legislator ruled on the police records that account for his condition of non-existence during the first five days after the dissemination of the complaint in July of last year. He alleged that he was “at his house” responding “to different congressmen”, although he did not want to detail who it was.

Meanwhile, the National Prosecutor’s Office has already ordered the requirement of preventive detention against the person investigated for rape, which will be evaluated in a hearing that will be held this Thursday starting at 12:30 p.m. and that, due to the delicacy of the case, will be carried out in a confidential manner.
Congress: reconsideration for the disqualification of Díaz will also be seen tomorrow
From the Congress, the parliamentarian Sigrid Bazán presented a reconsideration before this disqualification, which is included in the agenda of the Plenary this Thursday. Some legislators have proposed that this request be reviewed as soon as the session begins, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
