Agustín Saldívar, director of the Hospital del Trauma, informed in a press conference that the deputy Freddy D’ecclesiis of the ANR (officialism) was transferred to a private sanatorium. The legislator suffered a serious road accident in the Department of San Pedro in the afternoon hours of Sunday night.
After the accident, he was referred to the Trauma Hospital in the capital and on Monday morning, he was referred again to a private sanatorium.
“Today he was transferred to the La Costa Medical Center, he has a bruise on his knee, on the soft part of his left leg, and a hip fracture on the left side. In a patient with anticoagulated double valve replacement,” he commented.
He reported that a hip fracture should be operated on as soon as possible. And that he expects the coagulation range to be within the safe range.
“Normally in a hip fracture, rehabilitation is done immediately. He is in pain, once the plate and screw synthesis is done, we are going to recover the cavity and the head of the femur, the rehabilitation begins immediately”, he stated.
In short, the deputy has a hip fracture and a knock on the knee. The doctor stated that his health is not at risk.
