On Saturday, February 20, the federal Secretary of Culture, Alejandra Frausto Guerreroand the head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardoas well as officials from both levels of government, attended the opening ceremony of the First Festival of Urban Culture as the opening act of the Urban Culture Park (Parcur), in the former El Rollo and Atlantis water parks, in the third section of the Chapultepec Forestwhich is part of the different civil works of this priority project.
Despite the electoral ban, it came into effect on February 4, with a view to the process of revocation of mandate of the President of the Republic, which will remain in force until April 10, both officials spoke at the opening ceremony to highlight several of the actions of their administration and recognize this as an initiative promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“This space was designed by someone who sends you greetings, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. He imagined this place for you to be worthy, to be free, to enjoy and live through your own identity, whoever you decide to be”, declared Frausto Guerrero before a large number of those present.

The Federal Law of Revocation of Mandatewhich entered into force on September 14, in the fifth paragraph of Article 33, dictates that: “during the time that the mandate revocation process comprises, from the issuance of the Summons and until the conclusion of the voting day , the dissemination in the media of all government propaganda of any order of government should be suspended.
Later, it specifies that during this closed period, the political powers, autonomous bodies, public administration agencies and entities and any other entity of the three levels of government will be limited in the possibility of disseminating information campaigns related to educational services, health or necessary for civil protection.
The priority project of the Bosque de Chapultepec Cultural Project has concentrated 25% of the federal budget for Branch 48, Culture, for the last two years.
