The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) dismantled, so far this year, evasion maneuvers in the commercialization of grains that involve a total of 53,318 tons.
According to what was reported by the agency, the figure represents the load of more than 1,778 trucks with trailers that, placed one after another, reach 35.5 kilometers in length.
The raw material seized in the various operations carried out by the agency led by Carlos Castagneto was the result of joint work between the inspection areas specialized in agricultural production of the General Tax Directorate (DGI), together with the General Customs Directorate (DGA) and the federal forces.
The grains were interdicted by the AFIP during procedures carried out on routes, in the border crossings controlled by Customs, as well as from the tasks of cubic capacity of the DGI inspectors to detect possible differences between the physical stocks and the stocks declared in the mandatory systemic books, it was reported.
In this sense, it was reported in a statement that most of the merchandise seized in the various operations carried out throughout the country corresponded to soybeans, followed by cracked corn, corn, wheat and garlic.
In this way, the AFIP was also able to dismantle fraudulent maneuvers in the commercialization of birdseed, oatmeal, sugar, onion and raisins, among other products.
