The Modern Revolutionary Party (DRP), swore in last Saturday the former mayor of Santo Domingo Oeste, Francisco Penatogether with his political team and hundreds of other people, in a massive act that took place at the Las Mahobas Sports Center here.
The swearing-in was headed by the general secretary of the DRP, Carolina Mejía, the national vice president of the PRM, Eddy de Jesús Olivares and the national secretary of organization and member of the executive management, Deligne Ascención Burgos, and also, by the former president of the Republic, Hipólito Mejía.
During the ceremony, Peña expressed that he is always thinking of the people and that is why he listens to their needs in order to achieve the well-being of the community.
He also added that in the union there is strength and that together with the DRP he will overcome any obstacle to return to power.

Carolina Mejia; “Here we decided to do politics thinking about the interests of our people, here we decided to rescue politics as a service, we give our hearts to each project we carry out and our president Abinader serves as an encouragement to continue working”Mejia said.
Mejía, showed his joy by sharing the stage with his father, Hipolito Mejiaand if she was the one who swore in the new member of the party, Francisco Pena.
Finally he said, that the gates of the DRP They will always be open to people who are willing to work with their hearts and always thinking of people.

Deligne Ascension Burgos; “Today is a very special day for this municipality and for this party because every time a son of the Revolucionaria family, of the Peñagomista family decides to take a step, it is cause for rejoicing, because our party comes to be strengthened so that the change in the Dominican Republic with Luis Abinader at the helm”, said Ascension.
On his side, the president of the DRP in Santo Domingo province, Rafael A. Burgos Gómez, highlighted the works that President Abinader has carried out in said province and expressed his support for Francisco Pena.
They were also present; the senator of the Santo Domingo province, Antonio Taveras Guzmán, as well as the main authorities and leaders of the party of this demarcation.
