FP forms electoral commission; Henry Merán will coordinate it

FP conforma comisión electoral; Henry Merán la coordinará

Santo Domingo.- The party People’s Force (FP) announced on Monday the formation of its National Electoral Commission (CNE-FP), in compliance with the entity’s statutes and Law No. 33-18, on Political Parties, Movements and Groups.

The decision of the political entity was adopted at the meeting of its Political Directorate, held this Monday. In this meeting it was reported that Henry Merán will be the coordinator.

“The National Electoral Commission of the FP will have the purpose of directing the entire process of selecting candidates for positions of popular election, at all levels of election,” indicates a statement issued by the organization.

In addition to Merán, the CNE-FP will be made up of Bauta Rojas, who is secretary of the Organization of the FP; the Secretary of Electoral Affairs, Luis Toral; Ignacio Ditren; also Joaquín Gerónimo, Francis Vargas and Fernando Fernández, all members of the Political Directorate.

Similarly, part of the CNE-FP is the Secretary for Women of the FP, Angee Brook; Adalgiza Pujols; Fernando Rodríguez and Julián Roa, all from the Central Directorate.
