The Housing Fund of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (Fovissste), together with the National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies, an agency of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), presented the certification of the Competency Standard EC1629 Specialized Advice for the Attention, Management and Operation of the Financing Schemes provided by the fund. The objective is to improve the attention to the beneficiaries interested in obtaining a mortgage loan.
The executive director of Fovissste, César Buenrostro Moreno, pointed out that this instrument It will allow the standardization of the information presented to the beneficiary and also, very importantly, it will be a tool in the fight against corruption and fraud.

In a joint statement, Fovissste headquarters reported that the official explained that, in the first stage, the National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry, the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry and the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals will act as certifiers of the financial entities authorized to originate and formalize loans.
He added that, in the second stage, the certification will be issued to developer companies and, in the third, it will train Fovissste collaborators who have direct contact with beneficiaries.
