A bill (PL) requires that all people who defame or harass in prison be punished in prison social networks using false profiles.
As is known, in the digital world, anyone can create an account, indicating any username (@arroba) and, above all, use it for whatever.
This has generated many circles of impunity – resulted in anonymity – because, given some accusation, imputation of a crime or harassment, there are no responsible.
This is what PL 12368 seeks to attack, presented by Parliamentary Darwin Espinoza (Podemos Peru) presented this Friday, September 12 at Congress.
“The present is intended to prevent and sanction the misuse of social networks and digital platforms by incorporating article 132-a to the Criminal Code, “reads.
This, says the project, to “protect the honor, good reputation, dignity and security of people in front of Difamations, harassment and impersonation of identity. “
Recall that everything published on mass connection platforms, “can reach thousands of people immediately and, above all, permanently.”
