The horse was suddenly frightened, causing the minor to fall, who died due to the strong impact.
A girl from four years died in a tragic accident that occurred inside a tourist establishment located in a rural area of the municipality of Palmira, Valle del Cauca.
According to the information provided by the authorities, the events were recorded in a country restaurant in the town of Rozowhere the girl was sharing with her family. In the middle of the day, the minor decided to ride a horse, an activity that was part of the attractions offered at the place.
According to the preliminary report, even though the minor was accompanied by a guide, the horse suddenly became scared and had an unexpected reaction that caused the girl to fall, causing her immediate death.

Once the events occurred, the girl’s relatives and workers at the establishment tried to help her and requested help, but the severity of the injuries did not allow her life to be saved.
Faced with this fact, the colonel Pedro Pablo Astaizadeputy commander of the Valley Policepointed out that the case is already a matter of investigation.
“In an establishment open to the public, an unfortunate accident occurred in which a four-year-old child lost her life after falling from a horse. The events are the subject of an investigation by the Valle Police Criminal Investigation Sectionin order to clarify the circumstances of the accident and establish possible responsibilities,” he indicated.

The authorities reiterated the call to increase security measures in recreational activities involving animals, especially when it comes to minors.
