Although this concept is already popular in countries in Europe and Asia, Colombia also has its own route of inverted houses. Currently there are four spaces of this type located in Guatavita, Boyacá, Quindío and Bogotáeach with particular characteristics and additional experiences for visitors.

The most recognized is the Guatavita’s Upside Down Housein Cundinamarca, located approximately an hour and a half from Bogotá. It has positioned itself as one of the main tourist plans in the area.
The interior tour causes a feeling of initial disorientation, since all the spaces are designed contrary to what is usual. Rooms, kitchen and living room are visually “hung”, which allows taking photographs that seem impossible.
The project was promoted by an Austrian citizen residing in Colombia, who decided to replicate the European model and open it to the public as a tourist experience. The place also offers:
