The teenagers Miguel Urbina, Diomer Gómez and Bleidel Level Herrera are still detained in the Caracas City Care Unit. Since the night of Tuesday, December 10, more than 25 young people have been released from prison in the states of Anzoátegui, Miranda, Guárico, Carabobo and Lara.

The message that Nérida Ruiz posted on her social networks was almost premonitory. On the night of this Wednesday, December 11, his son Ángel Moisés Ramírez Ruiz, 16, was released from prison, along with teenagers Frenyermi Lara, Daiber Lucena and Yenderson Martínez, all detained after the presidential elections in popular areas of Caracas.
The teenagers were transferred after 6:30 pm from the Caracas City Care Unit, located in El Cementerio, to the Palace of Justice to inform them about the precautionary measures agreed upon by the court handling each of the cases. The representatives of Miguel Urbina and Diomer Gómez were also called, but their releases did not materialize with this first group.
These measures were agreed upon after a meeting between more than 60 mothers of those detained for the protests with Attorney General Tarek William Saab on Tuesday afternoon. At that meeting, the official told them that they were reviewing new cases and “they would have good news.”
Ángel, Daiber, Frenyermi and Yenderson are part of the group of more than 25 young people released from prison between the night of Tuesday the 10th and this Wednesday in the states of Anzoátegui, Guárico, Carabobo, Lara and Miranda. Four others (Diomer Gómez, Miguel Urbina, Bleidel Level Herrera and Héctor Hidalgo) are still detained in Caracas for events related to the post-election protests.
In the cases of Ángel Moisés, Frenyermi and Daiber were detained by police officials in El Valle, after being accused of being linked to the looting of a Bera motorcycle dealership after the elections. Their mothers have denied that the young people were near the place at the time of the events.
Frenyermi was forced, according to his mother Yadira Beñosis, to record a video where he said that he was paid to participate in the protests and took the stolen motorcycle to Daiber and Ángel’s house.
«When the defender reads me the file, she tells me: ‘they call your son Frenyito Manrique.’ I told him no, that other boy, a neighbor. My son’s name is Frenyermi Alexander and the other boy’s name is Freiyer Alexander. There was confusion, but the police wanted someone to blame,” he said.
While Yenderson was arrested on July 29 when PNB officials entered the house of friends in Los Teques and took him away in handcuffs. He is a high school student, like the rest, and worked as a barber in his free time.
