The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested four individuals and seized nine packs of marijuana, according to military sources.
This procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in Vega de Aza, Torbes municipality (San Cristóbal), Táchira. At that checkpoint, the military inspected a Chevrolet Chevy license plate AB211IH, on whose chassis they located the marijuana blocks that totaled 5 kilos 360 grams, according to a report from GNB Detachment 215 to which we had partial access.
After locating the drugs, military officials proceeded to arrest the four occupants of the vehicle, identified as Enderson Leonardo Vanegas Contreras, Lucio Pabón Ramírez, Meiby Judith Bernal Lozada and Yuliana del Carmen Díaz Bernal, who came from San Cristóbal and were heading to Valencia (Carabobo), the report says.
In another procedure, Cicpc agents arrested in San Juan de Colon (Táchira) Gabriel Rodríguez (46), Lorena Molina (39) and Wuilian Rovira (48), accused of drug trafficking.
These people and four other members of the gang had in their possession 49 packs of drugs, which were being transported in a van by Rodríguez, Molina and Rovira from the town of San Juan de Colón to Santa Lucía in the municipality of Barinas, the scientific police reported.
