Four people were charged with the crime of aggravated robbery (car theft), resulting in 2 of them with a precautionary measure of provisional detention and the other 2 with a report Monday and Friday, and an impediment to leaving the country; action appealed by the Prosecutor’s Office.
The imputation was given through the Fourth Section of Crimes against Property of the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office, in different hearings of multiple requests.
These people were apprehended in the ‘Carriage Phase 1’ operation, carried out by the Primary Attention Section, the Fourth Section for Crimes Against Economic Patrimony and Homicide/Femicide of the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office, in conjunction with the National Police, on February 22, 2022, in the provinces of Panama, West Panama and Chiriquí.
