They were captured in the Portuguesa state, four citizens allegedly pedophiles, “located, identified and placed at the order of the Public Ministry,” reported Luis Medina, Secretary of Citizen Security in the region.
The arrests were carried out last week in the Guanare, Araure and Guanarito municipalities, in different procedures and in response to complaints and the circulation of videos of lascivious acts and sexual abuse to the detriment of girls and adolescents.
Captured pedophiles
Medina indicated that the most recent arrest took place on Thursday, November 3, in a wooded area of Araure.
The person involved was identified as Asdrúbal Castillo Palacio (52) and is accused of trying to abuse a 12-year-old girl in exchange for money.
The case went viral after the circulation of a video in which the moment in which some neighbors surprised him locked in a house with the victim and rebuked him to leave was recorded.
Upon opening the door, it was observed that the man was without flannel and the minor was on a bed, without shorts. The subject managed to flee from the scene of the events, in the La Coromoto sector of Villa Araure.
To capture him, a search device was activated and the objective was achieved in three days, with the participation of commissions from the Criminal Investigation Service (SIP) of the Portuguesa Police, the Bolivarian National Police, the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc). ) and Public Ministry.
Solved three more cases of pedophiles
Medina reported the resolution of three other cases of child sexual abuse in Portuguesa, two of them in Guanare and one in Guanarito.
One of the cases is due to the exposure on social networks of pornographic audiovisual material in which a man is observed having sexual relations with two minors, each 13 years old, in a Guanare motel.
The subject was identified as Marcos Orlando Carvajal Salgado, 56 years old, and placed at the order of the Public Ministry.
The other case corresponds to that of a 10-year-old girl who recorded a video and sent it by phone to an aunt asking for help because she had been a victim of sexual abuse by her stepfather, who was identified as Gregorio Melanis Conde Montilla (50). and captured in the Las Cocuizas hamlet, Guanare municipality.
Citizen Miguel Ángel Aguillón Herrera (30) was also arrested, accused of sexually abusing his stepdaughter, a 14-year-old teenager. He was reported by his spouse and mother of the victim.

The Head of Citizen Security in Portuguesa, called on parents and representatives to be permanently attentive to their children, to avoid being victims of “sick people” who commit sexual abuse of minors.
“You cannot lower your guard with boys and girls,” he stressed.
Medina, reported that during the past month of October and the first week of November, seven complaints of pederasty have been attended to in Portuguesa.

According to the official, between October and November, 460 people have been detained in Portuguesa for being involved in different crimes.
He said that this action is the result of teamwork carried out by police and military agencies to strengthen crime prevention and security in Portuguesa.
Medina warned that they will be increasingly ruthless with crime, since the mission is to guarantee the peace and security of the Portuguese people.
