Four of the 12 detainees for the attack against Ciro Gómez Leyva are released

Pretrial detention and link to process

The source consulted on the Ciro Gómez Leyva case points out that there were some people whose legal situation had already been resolved and others who had precautionary measures imposed.

A woman identified as Elizabeth “N”, accused by the public prosecutor for bribery and against health, has already been linked to the process and will remain in preventive detention in the Santa Martha Acatitla prison. The judge set 45 days for the closure of the complementary investigation.

The alleged leader of the criminal gang, identified as Pedro Pool, and Cynthia “N” were charged by the public prosecutor for bribery, drug dealing and possession of firearms.

However, they requested the duplication of the constitutional term to define their legal situation, so the hearing will continue on Wednesday, January 18.

The FGJ-CDMX charged a person identified as Aniceto “N” with the crime of possession of firearms and later, the capital agency declined jurisdiction to the Attorney General of the Republic.

The alleged material author of the attack, detained in Michoacán, was transferred to Mexico City and admitted to the South Prison.
