Four inmates injured during a fight in La Romana

Cuatro reos heridos durante riña en La Romana

The General Directorate of Penitentiary and Correctional Services (DGSPC) reported that four prisoners from the Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR) of Cucama, in La Romana, were injured after a fight in which six people participated.

The wounded, identified as Luis Miguel Reyes, Joselo Marte Mota and Ariel Eliezer Gómez, were treated by a 9-1-1 service unit in the same compound, while Yeison Fulgencio was referred and taken to the hospital, where he received assistance and was returned back to the CCR.

The Intelligence and Internal Affairs Unit of the DGSPC began the investigations into the reasons that led to the lawsuit in which prison-made white weapons were used and in which Robert David Rijo and Adonis Enmanuel Morales also participated.
