Four people denounced for extortion were arrested in Zulia during proceedings organized by the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas), according to military sources.
Three of the subjects were detained in Barrio El Pendral, La Concepción municipality (La Cañada de Urdaneta), Zulia state and were registered as Abel Antonio Fernández Villamizar, Yunil Antonio Zambrano García and Alexandra del Carmen Andrade Bracho, members of the criminal group El Virolo, According to the report.
A 12 shotgun and three radio transmitters were seized from the trio. Several complaints were filed against these people before the CONAS, which is why the specialized group set up an operation and captured them.
And in the Guaicaipuro sector, Maracaibo (Zulia), Conas agents arrested Yosmar Enrique Gelves Bravo, a member of the El Tigre Masacre organization, denounced for multiple extortions. They confiscated a cell phone, according to the military report.
