The city of Mar del Plata awaits for this Thursday and until next Sunday the arrival of an “important” cold front that will displace summer 2023 by a few days.
Meteorologist Pedro Mazza said in statements to radio Brisas that “summer is going to be interrupted starting this Thursday since the southeast area of the province of Buenos Aires will be subject to a process of cyclogenesis with the birth of a deep low pressure center that is going to consolidate on the sea”.
Mazza specified that “They will be generating between 60 and 72 hours of strong winds that can reach the category of temporary”.
“There will be a marked drop in temperature, that is, between 3 and 4 p.m., which is the maximum time, at the same time that on Sunday we had almost 40 degrees, we will have a range of 13 to 15 degrees. in Mar del Plata” stated the meteorologist.
Massa said “it’s getting very cold, It is as if they had inserted part of August in the middle of February. Summer is interrupted and winter replaces it, from 48 to 60 hours. It is an intense winter that comes with everything: stormy winds and rough seas.”
He also alerted the owners of the spas and added that “There will be rains that in a summation can be copious.”
