Four athletes from the Cuban delegation that participates in the II Junior Pan American Games of Asunción 2025, in Paraguaywere reported this Thursday as disappeared by local authorities.
Enrique Riera, head of the Ministry of Interior of the South American Nation, reported that this agency had initiated the search for these people, after being notified their absence by those responsible for the delegation of the island, according to agency information EFE.

The missing athletes would not have returned to the hotel on Wednesday where they remain concentrated by Cuban representatives in the continental multisport appointment for young people in America.
The Paraguayan authorities presume that it is a case of escape, although they still do not have all the elements to confirm it.
“They still did not do any management to CONARE (National Commission for Reverages and Refugees), but in principle that is the presumption we have,” Riera told local media, according to the Spanish agency.
