staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) carried out the arrest of four citizens in the state of Táchira, who tried to evade the authorities and enter the national territory with two packages of cocaine hidden in a vehicle.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the two seized cocaine wrappers weigh more than two kilograms.
“In the state of Táchira, FANB detains 4 subjects with 2 cocaine wrappers weighing more than 2 kg hidden in a vehicle, trying to evade the Venezuelan authorities and cross the national territory,” he published.
More than 119 kilograms of cocaine seized in Sucre
This Sunday, November 20, four citizens were captured in a peñero with more than 119 kilograms of cocaine in the Sucre statereported the Chief of Ceofanb.
“#FANB captures 4 subjects in a peñero with 2 200 Hp engines, with more than 119 kg of cocaine in Sucre state, trying to deceive the Venezuelan authorities, using our coasts for drug trafficking to the Caribbean”, posted on Twitter.
Likewise, on Saturday, November 19, in patrolling missions of the FANB along the eastern coasts of Sucre state, four citizens associated with the Colombian Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking groups (Tancol). More than 100 kilograms of cocaine were seized from these subjects.
“FANB in sovereign patrol missions along the eastern coast of Sucre, detains 4 subjects associated with TANCOL groups and seizes more than 100 kg of cocaine, transported in a peñero with 2 200 Hp engines,” said Hernández Lárez on Twitter.
FANB active against drug trafficking
Given these drug seizure operations throughout the country, the head of Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, confirmed that the FANB continues to be deployed in its fight against drug trafficking.
