Three men and a woman were detained by officials of the Bolivarian Police of the Anzoátegui (Polianzoátegui) state accused of selling subsidized gasoline tickets to supply 100 liters at the Las Isletas de Puerto Píritu substation, in the Peñalver municipality.
The director of that security body, chief commissioner Power Cano Nieto, explained that during investigation work and in joint work with the community, it was possible to detect this irregularity “which allegedly has been taking place in the aforementioned fuel pump for some time ”.
He explained that according to the investigations, it was determined that each ticket to refill fuel was sold for 25 dollars to drivers of cargo vehicles, which, according to what the victims indicated, were offered exclusively by women.
Power Cano indicated that once the case was known, the police commission went to the place and once the information was verified, they flagrantly apprehended Ana Terán Reyes, 42, along with Celestino Tuárez Parababire (56), Julio Martínez (42) and Graimer Martinez Linares (33).
In the procedure, 337 subsidized fuel tickets were seized from them that were in the hand of the gas station worker, while another of the detainees had eight more tickets in his possession, as well as a notebook where they kept track of the tickets sold. .
The Fifth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry was notified of the case.
Others arrested for gasoline
In another Polianzoátegui proceeding, Jesús Alejandro Márquez Astudillo, 29, Marbelys Alejandra Corro Infante (27) and a 16-year-old teenager were arrested when they tried to illegally steal fuel in the El Esfuerzo de Anaco sector.
According to what was reported by the director of Polianzoátegui, the police commission was carrying out patrols in the aforementioned area when they observed a white Chevrolet pickup model vehicle, license plate A66AH0N, next to the fuel main pipe, on the road.
He indicated that when carrying out the verification, the detainees were stealing gasoline, also seizing two white drums with forty 40 liters of gasoline, four empty 20-liter drums, another white container with a capacity of ten 10 liters empty, and a colored hose. black 1.20 meters long.
Those involved and the evidence were placed at the order of the 21st Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry.
